When retained jointly, Keely serves as an independent educational expert and provides findings without advocating for either parent.
 

Mediation & Arbitration â€‹

  • Initial school research, educational analysis, and recommendations

  • Prepare Educational Report as joint Neutral expert/hired by both parents (preferred) for Mediation or to avoid Mediation (assist in settlement)

  • Prepare Educational Report for one parent

  • Compare/contrast Colorado vs another state for relocation cases

Typical Report Process

  1. Review case materials

  2. Review student-specific information

  3. Research relevant school options
  4. If applicable, move forward as an Expert Witness and begin comprehensive educational report
  5. Interview parents
  6. Analyze educational factors

  7. Prepare written report

  8. Testify if requested

Timeline

  • Ideally, parents begin the process 12-18 months out from the start of school
